Yesterday I briefly outlined my recommended “first steps” if you’re thinking about starting an Internet Marketing (IM) business. Since I started exploring IM, I have read a ton of information online and have subscribed to a number of newsletters.
One newsletter that I can recommend without reservation is “Eric’s Tips.” It’s written by an Internet Marketer named Eric Holmlund, and I mainly recommend him because he thinks like me…just kidding. But seriously, I received one of his emails this morning and it ties in surprisingly well with my last post. I was pleasantly surprised, because yesterday’s post was basically my “stream of consciousness” as I was thinking about how you should start an IM business.
Eric is a successful marketer, but his “Eric’s Tips” newsletter is different…it’s all about education. There are no hard selling tactics or monthly fees or any payment required at all. Just sign up here and you’ll receive periodic emails that point you to tutorials on a series of IM topics.
Anyway, the email I received this morning referenced Lesson #15: Creating a Business Plan. I also recommend checking out the previous 14 lessons, and in particular the 3 prior lessons which relate to my last post:
- Lesson #12: Thinking Like a Marketer
- Lesson #13: Getting a Vision for Your Business
- Lesson #14: Setting Goals for Your Business
Hope you find this helpful. I welcome any comments or questions you may have.
Take care…Jeff
